The Chevrolet Malibu will not be a sedan that is updated for 2025 as it will no longer be produced after the 2024 model year, CarBuzz reported.

However, consumers will only have five U.S.-made sedans to choose from next year.

Next year, there will still be popular domestic four-door classics in the ranks of leading manufacturers such as Toyota.

A 2025 model of the Toyota Camry will be produced and will be launched at a starting price of $28,400.

Toyota is so confident in its hybrid systems that the brand new Camry is only available as a hybrid.

It is equipped with a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder hybrid engine.

While some car enthusiasts are disappointed that a V6 engine is no longer available, CarBuzz calls the Camry “the most important car on the market today.”

According to Motor1, the Camry remains the best-selling sedan in America.

Last year, Americans bought 290,649 Toyota Camrys.

The Honda Accord will also be back on the market in 2025.

The 2025 version of the popular Honda sedan will start at $27,895.

Car and Driver reported that drivers purchased 80,721 Accords through July.

In addition, Honda Accords are so popular that they have won the auto magazine's “10Best” award more times than any other vehicle.

Both the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord have been competitors for years and are the best-selling sedan models in the United States.

2025 American sedan models

Next year, consumers will have only five U.S.-made sedans to choose from as the Chevrolet Malibu will be discontinued starting in 2025.

  • Toyota Camry
  • Honda Accord
  • Cadillac CT4
  • Tesla Model 3
  • Cadillac CT5

The Accord is considered the sportier of the two cars, but over the years, consumer opinion has changed due to improvements.

Although the model is the best midsize sedan according to Car and Driver, its sales fell 19 percent in the first half of the year.

The Cadillac CT4 will return in 2025 with a starting price of $34,995.

It will feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine that can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds.

The Cadillac CT4 is a compact luxury sedan that, according to CarBuzz, was launched in 2019 as an entry-level model under Cadillac's “Y” trim strategy.

The CT4 was an attempt to simplify Cadillac's model range.

The Tesla Model 3 will certainly be one of the sedans that will be launched by 2025.

The starting price is 38,990.

The Tesla Model 3 is equipped with a single-motor electric drive and can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 5.8 seconds.

The Cadillac CT5 is one of the more expensive American sedans consumers will see next year.

Its starting price is $47,595 and it features a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine.
